Building freedom, building access

As a disabled person and wheelchair user myself I am always fascinated by the various types of platform lifts available on the market today - particularly functionality vs aesthetics. I feel that these type of lifts provide some very flexible options enabling wheelchair users and mobility impaired individuals to gain equality of access to buildings today, particularly since the advent of the DDA and businesses becoming more commercially astute regarding their customer base and good all-round customer service.

I am hoping to build an informative yet straightforward site about these type of lifts and would welcome your views and suggestions.
